Peapod Hotels by Peapod Hotels provides SMS text messaging services to keep you informed about your bookings, reservations, and account activity. This page explains how our SMS program works.

How to Opt-In

You can opt-in to receive SMS notifications in the following ways:

  • Providing your phone number during account registration in the Peapod Hotels mobile app
  • Enabling SMS notifications in your profile settings within the app
  • Responding YES to our opt-in confirmation message
  • Updating your notification preferences to include SMS

Note: By opting in, you consent to receive text messages from Peapod Hotels at the phone number you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

What Messages You'll Receive

Transactional Messages (if enabled)

  • Booking confirmations and receipts
  • Check-in date reminders
  • Host messages and communications
  • Important account updates and security alerts
  • Payment confirmations and refund notifications
  • Review reminders after your stay

Promotional Messages (separate opt-in required)

  • Exclusive travel deals and discounts
  • Loyalty program updates and rewards
  • Special offers for young traveller travelers
  • New destination announcements

Message Frequency

  • Transactional Messages: Sent as needed based on your bookings and account activity. Frequency varies depending on your travel schedule.
  • Promotional Messages: Up to 4 messages per month (only if you separately opt-in to promotional messages)

How to Opt-Out

You can opt-out of SMS notifications at any time:

  • Text STOP: Reply STOP to any message from us to unsubscribe immediately
  • Text UNSUBSCRIBE: Reply UNSUBSCRIBE to any message
  • App Settings: Disable SMS notifications in your Peapod Hotels app profile settings
  • Contact Support: Email us at support@peapodhotels.com or call +1 (844) 976-0641

After opting out: You will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent unless you opt-in again.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to or from us. The number of messages you receive will depend on your booking activity. Contact your mobile carrier for details on your messaging plan.

Supported Carriers

Our SMS service is available on major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, Virgin Mobile, and others. If you have questions about your carrier's compatibility, please contact your carrier directly.

Privacy & Data Use

Your phone number and SMS communications are subject to our Privacy Policy. We will never sell your phone number to third parties. We use your phone number solely to:

  • Send you requested notifications about your bookings
  • Communicate important account information
  • Provide customer support
  • Send promotional offers (only if you opt-in)

International SMS

Our SMS service primarily serves U.S. phone numbers (+1 country code). International SMS may be available in select regions. Additional charges may apply for international messages. Please check with your carrier for international SMS rates.

Terms & Conditions

Use of our SMS service is subject to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By opting in to SMS notifications, you agree to these terms.

Changes to SMS Terms
